Workshop Feedback 'Let’s get together to talk about Public Participation and the use of Mapping Information in the Burdekin Dry Tropics Coast

What are the current public participation practices in your area? How spatial data and GIS has been and/or can be better use to support decision making?

I encourage you to access a brief summary report of a recent workshop realized in the Lower Burdekin region (Queensland coast, Australia) on the 14th of September 2007 to have a better idea of a local context understanding of public participation in the mangement of natural resources.
